Occhio has assisted Ocus in internationally recruiting more than 3,000 professional photographers and videographers. Ocus is a platform connecting freelance image professionals (photographers and videographers) with companies around the world.

Challenge

OCUS wanted to accelerate its business development to address its competitors by increasing recruitment on its platform. The challenge was to adapt the ads according to Ocus’ targeted geographical areas and available profiles.

Campaigns

To speed up the process of recruiting photographers and increase the notoriety of Ocus, several actions have been set up :

Conquest campaigns to recruit new freelancers,
Retargeting campaigns to maximize oncoming lead conversion,
Campaigns with similar audiences to recruit new photographers,
A/B test approach on audiences, texts, and visuals for each region to optimize budgets.

Results

The acquisition cost has been divided by 3 in 6 months thanks to better targeting of the users. Targeting made it possible to have a good interaction rate on our ads and to maximize the recruitment of freelancers. Thanks to the various actions carried out in coordination with an acquisition team, Ocus has recruited more than 3,000 photographers in more than 30 countries.
